synopsis
A generational business passed down from one family to another, Merz Apothecary (https://www.merzapothecary.com/) has been a landmark in Chicago for over 100 years. Abdul and Anthony, as a father-son duo, have found ways to bring products from all over the world to the rest of their neighborhood and across the country thanks to their ingenuity and the exposure being on Google offered their business.
OBJECTIVE
Merz’s story begins and transcends well before Abdul and Anthony took over the business in 1972. It became important for us to trace the business back to its European immigrant roots starting in 1875.
